Frequently Asked Questions. How much does it cost? To transcribe a solo, the price is negotiable. I keep the prices very affordable. How much are finished solos? Finished Solos are 50 cents a page. The number of pages is listed at the end of each solo. Most use Paypal and have the solos emailed as a pdf file. There is a $1 minimum if you would like to use paypal. How long does it take? For finished solos, it should less than a week at most and most are emailed ASAP. New solos is dependant on a number of factors. Transcribing is done in my free time. Rhythms are the hardest to transcribe. Ballads especially. Length of tune, quality of sound and intonation are other variables that can effect the time it takes. All solos are done by ear. Where and how do I send the songs? With the internet, a number of options are available. CDs are the best. The intonation is better than with tapes. If you use tapes, it is a good idea to let me know what key the song is in, or what the first note is. MP3 files work well too. Audiograbber is a free program that will make mp3s from a CD, you can find it with a google search.
